We are helping to solve the Climate Crisis

350 Chicago empowers people in Chicago and across Illinois to fight the climate crisis. Through education and action, we work to end fossil fuels, advance a just transition, and promote a livable future for all.
We are part of the 350.org network, but operate as a separate entity. Our chapter enables Chicagoans to transform anger and frustration at accelerating climate change into hope through tangible actions that make a positive impact on climate and the planet.

Divest Illinois Campaign
350 Chicago won fossil fuel divestment in the city of Chicago. Now, we have co-founded Climate Safe Pensions Illinois (CSPI), a statewide coalition with the goal of fossil fuel divestment in Illinois.

Utility Transparency Campaign
350 Chicago is working with the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) and a statewide coalition to advocate for utility transparency. When we succeed, utilities will no longer be able to charge you for their lobbying costs – which is especially important because they’re lobbying against the interests of their bill payers!
